Having trouble adding hyperlinks

I have tried several times and in a few different places to add hyperlinks to my messages. So far no luck. What am I doing wrong? I click the little hyperlink symbol and fill in the link in the little box and poof! The link disappears.

Hi Barb,
Try this for me. Paste the full URL into a reply here. Don't click the little link icon first. I want to see what happens...

Also, what browser are you using? Do you have the same problem when using a different browser?

you have to have the "http://" in the link too, not just the www. (dont add the " ")

Barb: I tried to send you an explanation of what you need to see & stick in between the hyperlink commands when it shows up in the text box so the hyperlink is visible but the DK site keeps getting confused & thinks that I'm trying to type in basic web code. Barb, if you just copy and paste the URL into a forum discussion or a forum post it should show up as is as a hyperlink. Same goes for discussion posts in the groups.

However, you do need to be able to use the hyperlink button to hyperlink in blogs and in comment boxes.

Can you take a screenshot of what you see at each step of the way? if you can do that in put the picture in one of these response boxes that will help us troubleshoot with you.
