Hello new here and have questions about double doodle coats

Hello everyone, I am new to Doodle Kisses but not new to doodles. We had an amazing F1 Labradoodle for almost 13 years that was just the sweetest boy. We were devastated to lose him this spring. My kids are ready for a dog again and we are going to be getting a double doodle this time. Can anyone give me some help as to what the puppy's coat will look like as he/she gets older if I post photos? Thank you so much for any help you can offer!

In these photos the puppy on the left is almost white/cream with strong lab features (block head, thicker legs and overall sturdier) with soft very lab like fur. He seems to shed a little. The other puppy is more cinnamon colored with very thick but soft and straight fur. Almost feels fleecy like a cotton ball. If that helps!
Oops I meant the puppy on the right is the more lab like one!
I don't have the expertise of others on this board but to me their coats look relatively similar. I do see a tad bit more wave to the darker one. I don't think either would be very curly. Maybe a slight wave as adults. The fuzzy/fluffy fur goes away. Did you ask the breeder about shedding? Also, look for the facial furnishings if you want your pup to be more doodly and less retriever looking. Right now it looks like the lighter one MIGHT have a start of them?!?! Others could tell you better. Overall I think coats look more similar than not so go for temperament in my opinion! :)
They are adorable by the way!
Thanks so much Erin! We were looking for less doodly looking (straighter fur). Our last doodle was wavy so we don't know what a straight coated doodle grows up to look like if that makes sense. The breeder thinks they will both grow up to be more polar bear looking whatever that means!
I have seen doodles that look like bears. How old are the pups? How long do you have to decide? My pup was the most retriever looking of the litter. He is super wavy now at 5 months.

This is the straighter, teddy bear look I think you are referring to.

If you want a non-shedding dog, I would be a bit leery of a puppy shedding already. If it doesn't matter, then no big deal.

Thank you! What a cute doodle that is! My husband is mildly allergic to dogs. He's very allergic to most traditional shedding dogs but our F1 Labradoodle would shed like crazy and he was fine with him.

The darker one has curly ears which often indicates a more doodley look.  What generation are the parents?  BTW,  two F1 doodles often have offspring that are very retrieverish.

Thank you. They are both F1 doodles so that makes sense. The other pups in the litter are all visibly curly and have been since birth. They are 5.5 weeks now.

The waves on the ears of the darker one and the softer nature of his coat says to me that he will be less likely to shed a lot and will have more wave but not super wavy. I like everything about him a bit more than the other.

Ok so we went back and selected our puppy and actually selected a completely different one. This little guy just stole our hearts. He was affectionate, sweet and laidback the whole two hours we were there. He's curlier than the others we were looking at but the breeder says he will be more wavy. He was wet because he had just fallen in the milk bowl and needed to be cleaned off but when he dried he dried fleecy and wavy. How curly do you think he will be as an adult?

Thank you!
