Help! Help! Help!
I have about 95 million names going thru my head for my new little guy (he was 2 weeks old on Sunday), and I want to get some other ideas before I decide.
What name jumps out at you when you see this guy?

Oooh.... I like the name Cosby. Many doods have a joyful, puppy like attitude - canine jokesters - & I love Bill Cosby! If this sweetie isn't a comedian, he looks like he could be handsome, suave, and charming. How about : Denzel, Washington, Grant (Cary Grant), Stewart (Jimmy Stewart). Historical names: Powell (Colin Powell), Booker (Booker T Washington), Carver (George Washington Carver), Luther (MLK).
My doodle is a curly coated chocolate and his name is Webster. My family thinks he's named after Noah Webster (Webster's Dictionary) but I think of the 80's sitcom "Webster". Top names on my list included: Edison, Crockett, and Riley.
The one thing I concentrated on when picking names for our Doodle girls was that they ended in an "e" sound since when you call them it ends in a happy sound. So we picked Sydney and Olivia (Livie for short).
We love Olie (Oliver when you get serious), Murphy, Bootsie (my first dog when I was a baby - he was black but had white feet).
The name will come to you as you hold him and see him more over the next few weeks. Enjoy this time, they are so precious as puppies. But then they get so attached to you as the years go on and get even more precious.
Coal and I wrote this before I saw any other comments.
Also, Cosmos, Diesel, Domino, Eightball, Inkspot (Inky), Ash, Bear, Cola/Pepsi (I have a Vernors), Blake (meaning Black, dark), Bruno, Jett, Decker (as in Black and Decker), Johnny Cash, Sirius (Sirius Black from Harry Potter), Zorro
Ok, I am exhausted now :) Good luck!!
