HELP! Stop Genetically Engineered Corn and Soy

Many of you are aware of this and have signed petitions.  For those of you who are not please sign this petition.

Dow Chemical, the same company that brought us Durban, Napalm, and Agent Orange, is now in the food business and is pushing for an unprecedented government approval:  genetically engineered versions of corn and soybeans that are designed to survive repeated dousing with 2,4-D, half of the highly toxic chemical mixture Agent Orange. Will you sign the petition urging USDA and Obama to stop these “Agent Orange” crops? Check out to take action!

Yes, and if you can imagine what they are putting in our own food sources, what do you think goes into dog food?  Just figure that the entire corn and soy crops are ruined in the U.S. and it is no wonder that most "smart" countries will not take corn, canola, or soy from the U.S.  Yes, there are toxic chemicals going into our food chain.  And nothing is being done to stop it.  USDA and Obama?  I think you just need to stop buying the stuff with any GMO products in it.  And did you hear about the pharmaceuticals on Diane Riems yesterday?  Apparently the companies that made antibiotics have closed down and ALL our antibiotics and many other drugs are coming from China and India (or at least the products going into the drugs come from these countries).  See any problems there?  And today we received notice that two of our Safeway stores are being bought by Cerberus Capital Management which bought 877 grocery stores.  I see another CVS, which has bought up all the local drug stores.  Any body getting scared out there?  I sure am.

Scared? I'm terrified, but mostly for my six grandchildren and the remainder of the next generations. Ours is toast...

Signed.  I've signed so many, it seems :(  Fight on two fronts. Push against this legislation and push for GMO labeling (because of what is already out there).  It's so sad that the government doesn't work to protect Americans anymore.
