Hi Everyone

It has been quite a while probably over a month since I have really been on Doodlekisses, to read and participate in the discussions.  I have been really ill, with what started with a simple cold, went to a raging sinus infection, and then to bronchitis.  Needless to say I was down and out for the count.  But with the help of my wonderful husband and my Oliver & Renny, I think I am ready to face the world again.  I can't remember ever being that sick for so long.  But that is in the past now, so I am just letting it go.

I do have wonderful news though, my son and daughter in law that live near us here in Florida have given us a beautiful baby girl grandaughter on Feb. 1.  Her name is Peyton Briele, and she is just adorable.  I can't get enough of her, lol...They also have a 12 yr old daughter that my son adopted when he married her, and now he is the proud father of two girls.  I waited 38 years to be able to buy baby girl clothes, lol...Of course my dil does not like pink, but there are many cute things to buy that are not pink, lol...AND we found out last month that my other son that lives in New York, he and his wife are expecting a baby girl in June. This dil loves pink, so I am going to have fun buying pink finally....

Just a note to all of you that have had sickness with the dogs, ( I have been trying to catch up reading), I am hoping that they are better, or getting better, to Nancy, I am hoping that Guiness is better today, and I think, my memory is hazy I did respond about Starlit, that shook me up.  If I didn't, I certaianly meant too.  To all my friends here on Doodlkisses, I just wanted to say hello, and hope that I am welcomed back after missing so much.  hope everyone is well...Cheryl

So happy you are feeling like you have beaten this bug back. Congratulations on your grandbabies. I have one of each and they are the joy of life. Note what Jane said about them getting into jeans really early so be sure to get all the baby girl stuff on them right away. My GD is 5 now and already has definite taste in her style choices. ;o)

Cheryl, I am glad you are better.   I found tons of darling baby girl stuff that is not pink, but there is lots of cool pink stuff too.  I am a recent expert on baby girl clothes - finally!  Some things just have to be pink or they aren't 'right' though.
