Hi Everyone!

Found this site while looking for some information on on Doodles.  In a little over a month, I'll be the proud Mom to my first Goldendoodle. My profile picture was taken by the breeder for the litter of my sweet pup. I can't tell you how excited I am.  It's been 2 years without a dog in our home.  Probably the longest stretch since my Dad brought home my first dog over 40 years ago.

I've heard so many wonderful things about this breed and know that it is a perfect fit for us!  Been awhile since I've had to train a puppy!!  I'm sure I'll have lots of questions and concerns.  I look forward to getting to know you and your precious Doodles.

Hi Mary

Your puppy's litter looks so cute....just want to hold them all and cuddle!! :-)  Our puppy will be arriving around the same time as yours.  He was born on February 6th so I expect we will get him the first part of April.  I've been driving my hubby (not to mention the breeder) crazy ever since with plans and puppy talk.  Like you, I want our puppy right now....don't want to wait! 

No shopping done yet...want everything... but the practical side of me has enough sense to know that I can't have it all!!   Will shop around and check reviews. I'm sure there is lots of great info on this site that will help with some of the decisions. :)

Training a puppy is like everything in life...you'll learn through trial and error.  Not every pup is the same! If you have love to give your puppy and do the best that you can do then your puppy will be a proud doodle. :)

Welcome to DoodleKisses - such an exciting time for you!  I will always remember the time when we finally decided on a breeder and waiting for our puppy to come home!  Just continual butterflies in my stomach!  I could not wait!!!!  Don't forget to look at all of the groups - Puppy Madness is a great group to get started in, you will learn sooo much!  The Food Group and the Grooming Group are also great sources of information so you can get an idea of what to expect and what to plan for!  Have fun and ask any questions - you will get the best answers on this site!

Oh, and so glad there's another Canadian on this site - even though I'm on the opposite end of Canada - which I'm really glad of right now as our snow is almost gone and we are at 11 degrees Celsius today!!!!  (sorry to rub it in!!!)

Hi Cathy, welcome from a fellow Newfoundlander. Where are you located? Getting a new puppy is just super exciting, I'm sure you'll be counting the sleeps soon. :>) If you were looking for info on doodles you have certainly come to the right spot. There aren't many topics that come up that haven't been covered at some point and if you use the search bar in the upper right corner it can keep you reading for days.  LOL, as you can see from the comments I do spend some time here.

Hi!  Thanks for the info on the website.  All the info is a little overwhelming right now but I'm sure once our puppy arrives it will all begin to make some sort of sense!  At least that is my hope!!! LOL!   I live in Mount Pearl.  Been here about 10 years.  Where are you located?
