hickup . . . the wine has arrived!

A while back the Doodle Rescue Collective was running low on funds and decided to offer a variety of prizes for a drawing with the winners among those that could send in a donation.  Such a worthy cause - so close to my heart.  Not just because I love all doodles but because they save so many of these wonderful dogs from a life of heartache.  Having adopted a rescued doodle - my beloved Stuart (although not from the DRC), I appreciate the hard work and dedication that goes into what they do.  Imagine my delight when I won the prize of the entire collection of Casa del Doodle wine!  Having NEVER won anything (o.k. Rooney's picture did make it into the 2012 Puppy Calendar - and I did feel like a winner but that isn't a contest) it was such a surprise and given the fact that my dh had just lost his job - it really was a bit of good cheer. 

So today - the delivery came!

Of course the delivery man was confused - was I really over 21?  LOL  He had to check my i.d.

Rooney & Stuart were also confused - they felt sure that this delivery was for them!

(notice the big puppy really really wants to counter surf but doesn't :)

I see more Casa del Doodle in my near future - - - now how to smuggle it on that cruise ship!

I love the label to the far left  too cute!!   And I believed the ID check too!!

 

Check with the cruise ship sometimes you can bring wine on board but you have to pay a corking fee per bottle.
