I just purchased the Hide-A-Squirrel for my Max (mini LD) who is currently 16 weeks old. He loved it! It even gave him a case of the zoomies - LOL.

It comes in different sizes and I purchased the junior size at a local pet store for $13 and change. Unfortunately, I figured out that you can get it on the net for $7 and change plus shipping or @ Amazon for $11 and change - and it's eligible for their free super saver shipping. They also sell replacement squirrels for dogs who like to kill animals that were never living to begin with. :)

Sdaie loved the "Squirrels" when she was a puppy. She palyed for hours with it. Eventually killed the squirrels andout grew it. She is now almost 3.

Guinness did a job on the tree house....left the squirrels homeless. We just got him the bird house and he is loving it.
Max is now 14 months old and still loves those little squirrels and even the "tree stump".
I just wanted to give another plug for this toy! A friend just gave us the "snakes in the grass" version. Pocket has literally played with it every waking hour since we gave it to him. He carries it everywhere with him, and has tried to bring it along on car rides (he has never chosen to run and get a toy over going to his leash when we ask "do you want to go for a ride in the car").

I love this toy because it keeps his mind busy, as well as his body. We have started stuffing other "surprises" in there, like treats and other toys, and he gets crazy pleased with himself to find something unexpected in there.

They are on sale on Amazon right now, so I bought some backups :)

Here is Pocket waiting to "go potty outside" - he is taking the toy with him!

My three doodles love this toy and, although the tree house is now a bit ripped, the squirrels are holding up fine despite tugs of war, etc.
