My Goodness we were tired. We overslept and didn't wake up until Honey heard someone outside our door talking. She gave a muffled woof and woke me up. This was 7:30 AM. We got up right away and were on the road by 8:15 AM. She was still tired and went to sleep near my arm. I setup a "bridge" between the front seat and back so she could lay next to me. And she has all day.
We are about 2 hours from Dr. Beam's office. We should roll in there about 3;45 PM. More to come.

You are getting close now! I love the bed in between the front seats. I may have to do that!
I've got "goosebumps".
Sleeping Beauty! Can't wait for the next update. :)
I really wish I could give you a huge hug, you are awesome. Honey has gone from an unlucky little doodle to one of the luckiest doodles alive. That she has so many wonderful people in her life who are willing to go above and beyond for her just restores my faith in humanity.
Awww, sweet baby Honey! Love, hugs, and pawsitives thoughts for you, your surgery, and recovery! A BIG thanks to all of you who are making this possible!
Yay, the home stretch!
ha ha, she worked herself right into the front seat ... :o) I knew she would! Just always wants to be close to her people. Bless her little heart. You must both be exhausted. Hopefully you get some good rest tonight before heading on home! Look forward to the next update with Dr. Beam!
Thanks again for keeping us updated, Dane. So glad that you and Honey will soon be safely at your destination!
Love that she is perched up there catching some ZZZZ'ssss! Home stretch!
Honey looks so relaxed and comfortable. She looks like a pure sweetheart.
This is a hard trip, but as you say, gratifying. Thank you for being Honey's guardian travel angel.
