You're a step ahead of me LOL I tried converting a song in my itunes library to mp3 format but when I try to ad to my music I get a message that it's not in mp3 format!! I actually by accident copied songs from other DK pages.
Try borrowing songs from someone else...and see if they work. Go to the main DK page.
Scroll down to the bottom of the front page until you see the music player. Click on the little tiny arrow pointing up (it's the last icon you can click on in the lineup of icons). Then click "add to playlist" and that should add it to your page's songs. See if that one plays for you.
Oh my gosh!!! Two successes in one night. I just uploaded a song from my itunes playlist to my page. I followed Adina's instructions on another How to add music discussion question and I got it to work. It seems many of the newer songs cannot be converted to MP3 format because they are "access protected". I am so excited!

I was unsuccessful in borrowing songs, but hopefully I can retrace my steps with your directions that I wrote down and upload more songs from itunes. Yeah! Thanks Adina!
Okay for those of you having as much trouble adding music as I was --- here is how it works on my computer. Open I-Tunes and go to music; highlight a song you want to upload to your page. Click Advanced and then choose "create MP3 version" from the drop down. If that song can't be changed a little box will pop up to tell you that. If it can be changed you will see a second copy of the same song below the highlighted song - that is the MP3 version. From My Page upload the MP3 version and put your songs on automatic play so they start when your page opens. Again thanks for your help Adina.
