You just have to force it open. I have to do this daily with JD's pills, and he really knows how to clamp those jaws shut.

Do you have one of those syringes used to administer meds to babies? Those work pretty well, you just have to get it in at the side of the dog's mouth where the skin is looser.

Otherwise, pry her jaws open, get the peroxide as far down her throat as possible, close her mouth quickly and hold it closed until she swallows. Massaging her throat will help.

Good luck.

I give my two craisins after their pills. So we have gotten to the point where I say "open", and they loosen their jaws.
Oh, and put the peroxide in a small cup, not a spoon, it's easier to pour it down her throat and not spill it while trying to get & keep her mouth open.
Thanks...I am glad someone is out there is doodleland!
Good luck Pam!  Our paws are crossed!
turkey baster

Was just about to post this  (baster).

I have found that prying the jaws open by putting your thumb closer to the back jaws makes it easier. There is a little ridge/gap between the front teeth and the back molars that can allow you to get a finger in.

I have to do this daily with the chi - I know he is small but he can be very persistent in keeping his jaws shut.

What did she eat this time???

gum!
