Today I saw just the cutest collar and matching leash and of course I had to get it for Rooney.  I bring it home and really start to notice that his "collection" is getting pretty big.  I think I may have a problem.  I mean how many collars with matching leashes does a stylish dog need?  LOL On Rooney the collar isn't too visible due to his hair so having the matching leash is crucial - right?  I think Rooney has at least 12 sets - how many is too many?  How many do you have?

would a leather one - be more comfortable?

how long does it take - for them to get used to it?

I was thinking you were all a bit...Then I realized each of my dogs have three collars. A rolled leather all the time on, a prong collar, and a washable nylon temporary replacement for the rolled leather in case we go to the beach collar. They each have a leash I've made them and I have a couple of upstairs emergency back up leashes. But really I never look at collars or think of adding to the collection : )
Well then, it is becoming obvious that I am the only one with a "problem" here.  It just seems normal to me though - like I wouldn't wear the same outfit everyday so why should Roo wear the same collar and leash.  I guess I better get a grip - lol.
Spoiled Rooney or fetish for Jane??? Too funny!! We only have one collar for each but of course the leash must match! Does he have his own closet??
You can't really see the collars on my guys so I don't get tempted.
I have to admit that Cooper has had his share of collars, but he was growing and that was my excuse.   Also, the season was changing and he needed a fall one or a Christmas one.   I just ordered a leather roll collar for him and if that works, it will probably be the last type.   I noticed that he was getting pretty matted last time I took him to the groomer around his neck and she suggested it.   I found one that was quite pricey custom made roll collar with an engraved buckle, but no way could I spend that kind of money at least until I knew if it solved the problem!  LOL!   Just kidding about that one.  I never spend much because he  is always rolling in the grass or mud, but the custom made one did look nice.
1 rolled leather (from PetSmart) collar per dog and no new leashes -  but several old ones for each dog which makes about 3- 6 foot ones and 4 -5 ft. ones, and one thin show lead.  I am looking for invisible leashes - like clear plastic or ones that would exactly match the coat.

Just saw that Boomerang tags makes a tag that will work on the rolled leather collar.  Don't know if you would be interested in that, but I love having one less tag hanging from Cooper's collar.

I would be interested.  Thanks Martha. I will check it out right now.
To avoid photoshopping?
Yup!!!

Jane, how many shoes and purses do you have? Just wondering, ha ha

Ya know if Rooney were a bigger dog this may be cost prohibitive, the bigger they are the more they cost...Daisy has 1 collar, 3 leashes and one of those I can't find.
