Hi everyone :) what a day!! I finally just got to myself for a little while!
Hurley had a good day. He spelt a lot today. I posted a picture on his photo page of how he is looking.
Dr. Genovese called me today to see how Hurley was doing. I tell ya what, he is the most compassionate veternarian. I have never dealt with a doctor who makes calls from his own cell phone just to see how his patient is doing. Hurley has so many people rooting for him to heal.
Hurley was a little more himself today. We had some company over and Hurley had to go say HI and was wagging his tail a lot. The two little boys who came over too had made the sweetest get well cards for Hurley. I have started a book for Hurley. So when the kids get bigger they can look back on this and remember all the well wishes that were sent to their dog :)
Hurleys incision site is red..I called the doctor. They said its normal to have redness. As long as he is not oozing or has pus. He doesn't :) thank goodness!!
Each day he is getting better!! He has an appt on next Wednesday to be checked...and on the 29th he gets his stiches out!!!

Thank you for keeping Hurley in your prayers!!! You all mean so much to us....

I just want to hug you for all that you are doing for your doodle and I want to hug Hurley. Thank goodness dogs live in a moment and don't spend waste time thinking about how they look and how they feel. I just love that about them. I love you, Hurley! You rock!
