I am worried!!

Ok Amante has eaten , pooped and peed but he is gagging up mucous. I am really freaking out.  Last time I had a dog and didn't follow my instincts I had a horrible result. I need voices of reason what do I do!!

Monty had his kennel cough vaccine and still got the kennel cough. He started hacking up and it sounded like he was choking on something. Is that how it sounds with Amante? Or is he actually producing a bubbly foam?

yes He did have that vaccine. He is UTD on all his vaccines.

Sounds like kennel cough to me too--which can be very scary--they sound like they are choking--but it is treatable and will go away--get him to a vet, please!

It does sound a lot like kennel cough which is very treatable but I am getting concerned since you seem to have disappeared! Please update us when you can!

sorry I have 35 people in my house for my daughters birthday, and they will not leave!!!!

I can only explain it has him gagging mucous up! His tummy is full and he is not refusing to eat. I has been happening  on and off all day! More now then earlier. He is not gagging up food.

It is always possible that he got a hold of something, but I don't think that is it! Can I wait and take him first thing in morning! Or do I go now? For sure first thing in morning I will call and go in.

You guys nailed it on the head. I think he may have Kennel cough!! It is not a loud noise, just loud enough were I can hear him. Does Kennel cough have the phlem.
