Hi everyone! So I live in upstate NY. I would like to buy a golden doodle in the next month or so. Does anyone know of a good breeder anywhere in the vicinity? Rochester, Buffalo, Albany...Pennsylvania...etc. I don't mind a little driving, I just want a reputable breeder.

Also, what is the avg price for one of these little cuties? I see some are white and some are more golden. I want the golden color. I currently have a 9 yr old lovey 120# white American Bulldog..so I want something other than white.

Any tips on what to look for in a pup when I eventually get to see a litter?

Then in the groups section you will find owner recommended breeders.  Anyone who would like to provide you with information regarding breeders in your area will need to do so in a private message as it is against the rules to recommend breeders in the public forums.

Im not sure on goldendoodle prices. I know Australian labradoodles go for around $2500. i think goldendoodles and American labradoodles are perhaps $1500 (for a well bred dog). others will be able to tell you what they paid

I think many of the better goldendoodle breeders are charging $1800-$2000 for a puppy from what I've seen.

I have a goldendoodle that I got from a breeder in NJ, she is a dark chocolate color. Goldendoodles can also come in black.
