I Give You My Hole Heart

I went out of town last night and left my 7 month old Golden Doodle Puppy, Bayley, home with my husband. It was the first time in her life that she has spent the night in the house without me. I was concerned about her and called this morning to see how she had done. I was ticked off when I heard that she had ripped a 12 inch hole out of the center of our new bed quilt. But I had to smile when I got home and looked at the damage. It kind of looks like a heart, doesn’t it?

Like someone else suggested - bind it off, or cut another piece of fabric in a heart shape and quilt it in - and then print Bayley's name and date of art creation and you will have a keepsake!  Love it!
