I was celebrating today!

Hi, my name is Monty and it was my 3rd birthday today.

Mom got all crazy again with her camera, but I'm used to it by now. First, she made me wear a B-day hat, which I did not mind. What I did not like was the wind blowing into her backdrop. But I'm a big boy so I managed to pose for a treat and still keep my eye on the backdrop in case it wanted to attack me.

If that was not enough, Auggie came to celebrate with me. Well, I think he mainly wanted to eat my treats.

Mom made a special raw lamb patty cake with a layer of baked pumpkin for me. And since I turned three, I had three pieces of Vienna sausages as candles.

Once Dad came home from work, he gave me kisses for my Birthday.

And then Mom wished me a Happy Birthday as well. I love my Mom, she makes good cakes! I always give her kisses but today I gave her extra ones since she tasted like Vienna sausages...

I just could not wait to enjoy my cake!

Somebody told me to wait till Auggie gets his little cake as well...well, his cake was not as fancy as mine. It was MY birthday after all!

Auggie had to wait as well (I guess that's just fair) while Mom took our picture.

And then I went for it. Man, was it good!

And since it was MY birthday, I went for Auggie's cake as well. He will get to celebrate when it's HIS party.

There, all done! Happy Birthday to MEEEE!!!! Auggie, you can lick my plate now.

Note from Monty's Mom:

No doodle feelings were hurt in this party, Auggie got an additional little cake with his dinner later on and got to chew on a pig ear as well.

On a more serious note, Monty is truly my heart dog and he grew up into a wonderful companion and a therapy dog. I love him beyond words. Happy Birthday, my sweet boy!

How in the world did I forget Jack and Monty have the same birthday.. I Must have said that a million times when I was out in CO and he was visiting me.... I love Monty so much..... Happy Birthday to my sweet little wiggly butt so happy to greet you boy Monty.

I know how much joy you bring sweet boy.. Your personality is just so amazing and you are so loved... I miss you and seeing you, Auggie and your mom are the only reason I don't mind going back to the hospital out there. 

Glad your birthday was good.

I need to come back for my annual.. it will be a year next week that I came.. little did I know I would be stuck out there until May.. This time.... I hope to be in and out.. Isn't he Dorris? His personality just makes everything better.... He made friends so easily at the dog park. was eager to snuggle with me even though his mommy said he wasn't a snuggled.. He sat in AppleBee's while we ate.. He is such a good boy..

What an extravaganza and lovely photos. I was feeling a bit sorry for Auggie towards the end but I'm glad he got another cake. I will not show this to Luca who will just get a really good treat and lots of love on his BD soon.
