As you all know we think our Daisy is perfect and would not change a thing about her for ourselves.
That being said I think if we had the option, the one thing I would do for Daisy is change her fear of so many little things. Her fear of blowing objects, a falling leaf, the Goodyear Blimp in the sky, an object in the distance that she cannot decipher. I would prefer she be more curious with a healthy dose of caution, and I a willing partner, for her to move to those things just to verify that they are not going to harm her. I think life would be sweeter for her which of course would make life for us that much better with her in it.

Go for it Boo, you will love it!
I can live with Bo stealing the tissues, the sofa pillows, and even something more expensive (my glasses). The thing I would change is his fear. If I could make him less fearful it would help him in so many situations like vet visits and grooming (which become vet visits since he has to be sedated to get a hair cut). He is generally better than in the beginning but he is still a fear aggressive dog in some situations.
Even though I have a huge rug under Finley's water bowl he still manages to drip water all over the floor. And while I love his shaggy look, the wet beard drives me nuts! As soon as I dry his beard he heads to the water bowl for another drink. Otherwise he is perfect for us!
No fail, when I'm working on my computer or trying to do something, Annie will jump up on my keyboard and screw up whatever I'm working on. (I sit here looking to the side to make sure she will not screw up this reply).
I would also have trained her better when she was smaller that jumping on people is not OK. This is not her fault, it's mine for allowing her to jump on me when she was smaller. Now that she's 55 lbs, it's not as cute - but we're trying to work on this... it's harder than I expected.
Trav is such a good boy--but he does fixate on strange dogs when he's on leash, and will lunge if they get close. We're working on this. And I wish he didn't matt. But he's only counter surfed once--for sweet potato fries--he doesn't chew anything he shouldn't chew, he only pooped in the house once, on his first night here, he has good recall, etc., etc.
My changes for Gavin: rock solid recall, complete off-leash reliability - oh wait, these are all on me to change! Seriously, except for no more random "fevers of unknown origin" I would not change a single thing.
I asked my DH what he would change. His response - that Gavin would poop money!
So instead of the Goose that laid the Golden Egg he would be the Golden Doodle that pooped the Nest Egg. Sorry, I couldn't resist!
Very clever Ricki!! :)
I think that I would love for Lucy to have the same love and enthusiasm for people and making them happy that Sophie has. Lucy though is what I would call guarded. She has to warm up to you. You can tell she wants to trust everyone but she just needs time to be sure. As for Sophie, I think most of you already know what I would change about Sophie if I had the power to do so!
We all wish you could, Sheri : (
Yes, Sheri, I wish you could change it, too.
We all wish you could.
