Update: Not Impacted puppy teeth, but a reaction to flea meds.

My Jade has some super smelly breath and while it doesn't bother me, my husband said that it is worse than normal. I normally smell something similar when she's losing her teeth.
However, today she's excessively drooling. One side looks swollen and red and she didn't want me to touch at all. She also reluctantly took an ice cube - she loves ice!

She has an appt, just wanted to get some input.

All I can say, is that if there is a possibility that she has an abscess, I'd get her to the vet right away, and definitely have her seen before the weekend. Not only can an abscess be extremely painful, but it is terribly dangerous if left untreated for too long. I hope that you can figure out what is ailing her, and take the necessary step to get her diagnosed and treated soon.

Update:

Well, it wasn't her teeth. The vet looked in her mouth and said that her throat was really red but that he didn't see any problems with her teeth. He took her temp and her temp was up. He then was going to prescribe an antibiotic.
At some point her ear flipped up and I saw red spots inside her ear and pointed it out. He then looked at her belly and saw spots there as well. He said it looked like she had a reaction to something.
I had given her flea medication -Vectra 3D - just two days ago. I told him that and he said that could definitely be it. He gave her a different antibiotic and an anti inflammatory.
My husband had mentioned that it could be the flea meds earlier, but I told him I didn't think that was possible since it wasn't an immediate reaction.
She's resting now.

Still drooling and felt a little warm this morning. But, she was chasing after Barkley like normal when I took him out and she gobbled up her food plus took her meds like a champ!
