Is Your Doodle a "Lefty" or a "Righty"?

• Does your doodle prefer a particular side (besides their back) when laying down? I just noticed that Tori always lies down on her right side.  I especially realized this today as I tried to brush her. It's more difficult for me to brush her right side because she always rolls back to that side as I try to roll her over to brush that side.So.. I continued to watch her tonight every time she laid down, and yup - she was always on her right.   Wonder if that's like a hand preference in people?

OOOO never thought of testing that one out... I think - she does high five with her right - mostly... we'll try that one tomorrow! LOL

Chewie is definitely a lefty. He rolls over to the left and always wants to shake or high five with his left paw too.

HHmmm Hunter shakes and rolls to her left but she always lays on her right side.... I had to notice what side she turned to when I thew something to her and she turns to the right...... What an interesting topic and the differences....

Cooper is ambidextrous just like his mama! I make him do everything both ways!

Shelly..you always post the cutest things....things I've never even thought about. Thomas is a righty..always lies on his right side and shakes right but will throw up the left if we ask for it too.

Thanks Debbie! Yeah - Tori will do the same... but she always starts with the right paw FIRST! But Caitlin brings up a good point... I always hold up MY right hand when ask for a 'high five' from Tori... I tried not holding up my hand and she still gave her right paw! LOL Hope you have a happy Mother's Day!!!
