Thank goodness Noah doesn't understand English because his manhood was in question today! We were at the park and met a man with a very nice labradoodle. After all of the small talk intro (where did you get your doodle? What's your doodle's name?, etc.), Noah rolled over and the man said, "Oh, he's a girl?" I said, no, he was fixed early - he's a male. Noah was fixed at 3.5 months and his "manhood" stopped growing after that. The poor guy doesn't look like a male unless you look closely lol.
Jackdoodle says he would like to quote Bo Diddley here:
"I'm a man,
I spell M - A - N - ...man."
In reality, he was obviously in the wrong line when they handed out the equipment. Although he was not neutered until 14 months old, four days before I adopted him, he is underwhelmingly endowed, and the red rocket has never made an appearance.
He has never been mistaken for a female, however. He's definitely a masculine dog, and he does lift his leg where other dogs have gone before him.
What, no red rocket, Jack. I for one think that's wonderful. You are a nice, refined boy who knows how to "keep it in your pants...or something like that". Can you PLEASE talk to my Murphy. He could certainly learn from you. Guinness is getting nowhere with him....I really think Murph thinks Guinness is just a wimp, but I know he thinks of you as "da man".
Darwin is a shame to all mankind as far as "down there" goes... he he. It is no surprise that people mistake him for a female... I have also never seen a hint of red rocket, he doesn't mark, doesn't hump, and doesn't lift his leg. I'm not complaining! He was neutered at 5 or six months old.
Well then Gaston-Cramer and Darwin could be soul mates! LOL Even now with the addition of a very pretty and attractive female doodle into our family he completely 10000% treats Rose as a sister. He has NO CLUE what to do with it and never has! LOL
This reminds me of a trip to the Bronx Zoo, when my boys were quite young. I don't remember if it was a
rhinoceros or some other humungous animal but it lead to quite a discussion. I have felt for some time now that the reason Luca is so obsessed with rubber balls is because he lost his own so young. I have read of similar obsession in female doodles on DK so it may be another theory gone wrong. At any rate, if Luca were the type to have a complex, his lack of certain "attributes " and the miniscule size of another could cause one. Luckily he has no comparison to make him feel bad.
DOGSMO actually. I can just see the headlines: "Early Neuter/spay - How Does It Affect Others' Opinions of your Sexuality?"
"How Often Are You Mistaken for the Opposite Sex?"
Find Out What Your Doodlemates Really Think About You?"
"Are You Ball Obsessed" Fill out our questionnaire and find out."
