SECOND UPDATE: Please see the new turn of events just announced in a new discussion!!! BUB's saga is starting to read like a suspense novel....twists and turns all over the place!!
UPDATE: THIS JUST IN.....Karen was nice enough to tally up the winners and she and Jane (Rooney and Stuart) tied for first place. Karen has decided, after much consideration, that she does not want Brad and conceded the victory to Jane. Jane, private message me your address and Brad is on his way to your house to live a life of luxury...ride the golf carts, meet the gators, play with Rooney and Stuart, and make all the other women jealous in your neighborhood! Congratulations!! I hope BUB and you will be very happy!!
Sunday is Oscar night in our household. I watch every year and usually get mad at who wins, but this year I thought it might be fun to have a little contest. Of course, we need a prize and I have the perfect one for the gal or guy who has everything. Everyone can use a friend, especially one who is not judgmental, is always a good listener, never long winded (unless you release his valve), and likes to spend time with you. No, I am not offering my services, but I do have the right guy for this occasion and his name is Blow Up Brad!
Keep in mind, when inflated, he does not look exactly like the guy on the box, but he could still be useful if you ever find yourself driving on I-95 and need one more passenger to get in the HOV lane. He is also available to sit at the dinner table with you, so you never eat alone again, and he will never pick his Ipad2 or Kindle over you, so you have time on your hands to think of stupid contests.
Please be kind to Brad, if you are the winner. He has already been rejected by a friend and my mother and returned to me. His ego is bruised and he needs a loving home. Please note he is potty trained, sleeps in a box, and just needs a good pump from time to time to realize his full potential.
Pump is not included in this offer!
Alright, now here is all you need to do to play. Pick the Oscar winners BEFORE the Oscar telecast and Monday, I will tally up the entries and let you know who won and who gets Brad. Good luck. I can't wait to get rid find a wonderful home for a wonderful inflatable guy. In case of a tie, I will choose the winner based on who I like better a question I come up with after the Oscars.

And he'll be riding in your front seat all the way back, too.
Jennifer, So far, it is only you and Jane that actually want poor Brad :)
Oh I want him.. should I win, Brad will have a permanent place of honor hanging on my oh so lovely pole for the rest of my pole living days. (except of course when people from my church come over, then I may have to take him down.
Jane however is willing to be way more brazen with Brad, taking him to the Country club, golf cart riding etc. I can't offer Brad that kind of life... so he may just be better off with her!!! LOL
If Brad comes here, he will be seen mowing my grass, grilling for me, and doing dishes!!!! No country clubs, wining and dining will be in his future that is for sure!!
I have no business making any predictions since I've only seen three of the movies (including the animation category) but here goes:
Best Picture: The Artist
Best Director: Martin Scorsese
Best Actor: George Clooney (I saw this one, not just because he is so cute; he was great!)
Best Actress: Meryl Streep (because she deserves it...I saw this and she was incredible!... but Viola will probably win because Meryl has had too many.
Best Supporting Actor: ??? Jonah Hill
Best Supporting Actress: Octavia Spencer
Best Animated: Kung Fu Panda 2 (I didn't see it but I loved Kung Fu Panda!)
Foreign Film: ??? In Darkness
Best Song: Real in Rio (loved that movie, did you see the bulldog in it? so funny!)
Good luck, Bonnie!
Get on the new Oscar's Yappy Hour!!!!
Jennifer, I did not do all the categories :)
Oh I was going to say.. this is Hokum.... LOL... I am following Elizabeths pick too
What did Octavia win for??? Soon as she started to cry, I did,
