January & February Photo Themes

Below are the themes for our front page slide show for Jan & Feb 2013.  If you'd like to participate and see your doodle featured in our front page slide show, simply upload a fitting photo (one per doodle) that fits the theme and tag it with the right tag (see below).  The dates below refer to the Thursday the slide show will be ready.  This means your photo must be uploaded & tagged by the Wednesday before by 8pm Pacific time. 

Dec 28 -- Brand New .... tag = new13

Jan 3 -- Long Winter's Nap ... tag = nap13

Jan 10 -- Snow.... tag = snow13

Jan 17 -- Blue .... tag = blue13

Jan 24-- High Energy.... tag = energy13

Jan 31 -- Good Dog ... tag = good13

Feb 7 -- Bad Dog.... tag = bad13

Feb 14 -- Love .... tag = love13

Feb 21 -- Wrestlemania ... tag = wrestle13

Feb 28 -- Smiles .... tag = smiles13

The best way to upload a photo is to go to the Photo tab at the top of any page.  Then click "+Add" and that will allow you to select a photo to upload.  After it has uploaded you'll have a chance to title it, write a description and add some tags. Please make sure your tag for the slide show theme is in all lowercase letters.  If you have any questions, please comment below.

Merry Christmas! I have attempted to add a pic of Sophie for Long Winter' Nap.. first time for me. Hope I did it right. :)

Denise, you have to use the tag nap13 or the photo won't show up in that slideshow. Go to your photo, and use the "edit tags" to change the tag. You can just add 13 to the tag "nap" that you already have there.

Denise & Sophie: The tag for each photo is one word.  You put "long winter nap" as your tag, but a tag word is just one word.  If you look at the list above it lists what each tag word will be for each theme.  For "Long Winter Nap" it is "nap13" -- When I make the slide show I make it by searching out all photos with the correct tag and put them in myself.  Go to your photo, click "options" and then 'edit' and fix the tag that way.  You can also use the tag section to add tags that might help you find your photo better.  For example for the photo you want to submit you could put "Christmas" and "tree" too so others could search for photos of trees or Christmas and find it.  Just an example.

The Family Photo is fantastic and a wonderful idea, you and Clark look wonderful and as far as the babies go they of course are adorable!
