I was just thinking, and my apologies if this has already been done in the past, but I thought it would be really fun to create a DK cookbook with favorite recipes of all our DK members.  All the proceeds from the book could go to the Doodle Rescue Collective.

Are we talking dog food recipes or people recipes?

There is actually a group for each, although I don't think either is very active.

I think if we considered doing a cookbook for sale/fundraising, it would be safer to stick with human recipes.

My thought was a cookbook for people Karen...not for the dogs...we did this at my children's school and it was a lot of fun...just a thought:)

I'll suggest it to the DRC Fundraising group. Meanwhile, let's see what kind of response we get here from people who would contribute or buy.

Great idea. I would definitely buy one and put it on the shelf with all my other gadgets, gizmos, and cookbooks :) I love cookbooks, but I hate to cook. LOL It would also make a fun gift for everyone in my life who thinks I am nutty about my dogs :)

I'm with you Laurie, cooking and I do not go together either!  Well maybe not in the dessert department! I love making desserts, cookies, candy, etc, get the picture!  I love cookbooks though and I would love to contribute and buy one!   I have lots of dessert recipes. LOL

For some reason, (old age) I feel as though we have discussed this before, but I can't remember for sure. Or what the oppinions were. But I like the idea and actually have several recipes in a few published cookbooks. Im with Laurie, I would add it to my cookbook collection! And it would make a nice gift.
