Knew I smelled......

My DH is still restless at night, recuperating with his new bionic shoulder, and it's not unusual for him to get up in the middle of the night.  Last night, no different, and he went downstairs for a fresh ice pack.  But then when I then got up I knew I smelled something not pleasant in the hallway-but could not locate anything upstairs.  More restlessness and then I heard Quincy go down the hall stairs--very unusual so I followed him.  He went bounding off when I opened the door to the yard.  And there, by the door, on his bed was a nice big mess...poor baby had diarrhea.  Now the thing is, my DH was DOWNSTAIRS to get the ice pack, 10 feet from that bed and yet came back up and never smelled it? Amazes me.  

Quincy also tossed his cookies this morning so we are holding off feeding him.  Can't imagine what he got into.  Keep your fingers crossed he has passed it all out.  The laundry room is humming this morning!

Hope your boy recovers quickly!! I do so agree...this is such a great place to discuss, vent, or KVELL about our treasured doodles...no where else & no one else would care as much as the DKers

I hope Quincy feels better by now. I think our DH's have selective everything :) LOL
