Lake View Doodles and Petites

Hey everyone!

 

So i was just wondering if anyone had any experience or bought their doodle from Lakeview Doodles in Rochester, NY? They have a petite litter coming in February, should be around 20-25 lbs at maturity so they are technically petite goldendoodles. I was just wondering if anyone had a petite and had any useful information or any info about the breeder. I have already inquired about reserving one but i havent made a firm decision yet. Any information you could give me would be very helpful! Thanks!

Regardless...a petite sounds adorable.  Ours is a mini Australian labradoodle, but she is about 5 lbs smaller than she should have been.  (The entire litter ended up smaller than expected.)  Ginger is about 24 lbs now at almost 12 mos, but should have been 30-35 lbs. I wonder is ours is still considered a "mini"?   Hmmmm....

hmm maybe yours is a petite as well? haha i think the american goldendoodles are considered petite if they are mixed with a cocker spaniel as well. they are 1/4 toy poodle, 1/4 golden retriever and 1/2 cocker spaniel which makes them smaller i believe.

Mine is a mini Australian labradoodle and she is 23 pounds at 18 months. She was supposed to be 25-30, so I guess it's pretty much right.
