Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
We can also highly recommend "Le Poochs" brushes! These are specifically designed for dogs with hair, particularly the wool and fleece-type doodles have. They're aren't cheap, but they are very high quality and will last a lifetime. If you want your doodle to enjoy a good brushing...these are the ticket!
We have a green single and a green dual-head. They work with our doodle's hair perfectly.
We bought them at Doodle Country Store. There are several types for different coats and the owner, Kemp, helped us pick out just the right ones. If you e-mail Kemp he will help you select them personally. Highly recommended! Tell him Sandy sent you. :)

Calla has extremely thick fur and she is a big girl. I recently bought her a double purple brush which has made life a lot easier. On occasion you can find websites where you can get in on a group buy, which makes the brushes much more affordable.
Crazy as it sounds, these brushes are worth the money. My dood, BennyBix, is a wooly coated boy, and i'm able to keep him mat-free if i dilligently use these brushes. IF is the big word of course. :>)
