Marley is 8 months old now so I have to post a more recent picutre of her. I'm looking for other Doodles in our area to have play dates with and romps--any suggestions?
Sorry to hear you cannot make the romp, would love to meet for a play date. Hopefully the sun will show it's face long enough to dry out the dog parks.
Thank you for the nice comments on the photos. The doodles are all trained to look at my finger when I point at them....so that's how I got them to look at the camera........Truman's coat is not quite that long any more, that was his puppy coat - he's been clipped since then. A coat that thick is way too much maintenance. :-)
You have some great videos. Just wondering what format you use? ADobe Flash Player, Quicktime or Windows Media? Your videos look pretty clear to me, when I uploaded videos they turned out a bit fuzzy. What is the best format to use?
I just finished watching the trio of walking videos. They are fabulous.
Just this week end we brought home doodle #2. Our stories are so similar---we're just a couple months behind you. Ours are 11 months and 10 weeks.
Same dad; different moms. Are yours from Teresa Drevdahl in Yamhill, Or?
Your dogs are so well behaved. Can I pick your brain for advice on handling two in the future?
Steve, Roxanne, Daisy and Maggie
Thanks for the kind words about our videos! They are a labor of love...and I have to watch them whenever Abby and/or Joey start digging up the backyard to remember why we love them sooooo much. :)
What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
Two Goldendoodles, Abby and Joey. Abby was born in February 2008 and Joey was born in September 2008. We adopted Abby first and loved her very much but quickly realized that she needed a friend to keep her busy. After searching high and low we went back to her breeder (Big Oak Ranch in Yamhill, OR.) and adopted Joey. Joey is Abby's half-brother...same father (Poodle) but different mother (Golden Retriever). They are BFF's and inseparable now.
Abby is quite small for the breed. Her (and Joey's) father is a half-miniature, half-standard poodle. Her mother was a small English Retriever and Abby was the runt of the litter. She weighs about 30 pounds fully grown. Joey on the other hand is truly her a "big" brother at 55 pounds!
They are our "fur kids" and we love them to pieces!
Where did you get your doodle(s)?
Breeder
Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
Poodle smarts and retriever personality! Not shedding is icing on the cake.
What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
Going for walks, visiting the local dog parks but most of all, going to the beach and throwing the ball, and throwing the ball and....
Anything Kong. Anything that squeaks...particularly little soccer balls.
