Webbing can be hard on your hands and I always find leather a little too heavy. Personally I like the type I found here.

I like leather leashes for my two!

I'm with Laurie.  I have many different kinds but prefer leather leashes.  I have gotten "leash burn" with nylon and some cotton leashes catch and hold onto any and all lose hair.

I think mine is cotton - it's quite soft and light.

I got it from some random store while on vacation in Hawaii so I don't have a link :/

The only leash I like is a 6' by 1/2" wide leather leash. Webbing leashes really hurt my hands.
A new leather leash will be a little stiff. Once it is broke in it is perfect...My Leash is 20+ years old!

Pam, I was just about to order a poly-cord leash when I read your post and paused: 20 yrs!!!??? Wow! OK, searching for leather ones on-line now.... Thanks. I have to say, I would've never even looked at leather, preferring cotton or nylon... but I'm willing to take a look now since you all mentioned it.

One of our leather leashes is nearly 20 years old.  Love love love leather.

I just looked at their website! I love their leashes!! I have to get one!

Ohhhhh! neat!! I often wrap the leash around my waist and be hand free, so this may work perfect!!

Only leather here.

've always used a real soft leather, about 6' in length.Easy on your hands...

A good leather leash will last forever unless the dog chews it up. If you get leather look for a rolled handle.  Nylon webbing and cotton leashes come in great colors and prints.  I have all three types.
