THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ONE HILARIOUS MORNING! 

The results are in and this was very tough because there were so many funny and creative captions!

This was the judges first exposure to DK and they're still laughing!  They especially liked:

Vivian and Mojo's: Mooom You know I wanted to be a pirate ... shish!

and Ann, Oliver and Rosie's: Help! My frog just ate my dog!

Laurie got the "most insightful caption of the day" award for "I'm having an identity crisis!

But the entry that had them rolling on the floor came from Doris and Knox:

"How 'bout a game of Leap Dog!"

SO CONGRATULATIONS TO THE NEWEST MEMBER OF THE SISTERHOOD OF THE TRAVELING INTERCOURSE T-SHIRT!  DORIS AND KNOX!

Well deserved even if she did try to throw everybody off with that crafty comment about the turtle  LOL!

Hello Dkers!  I've been the proud recipient of the famous intercourse shirt for a while.  Lest anyone think I'm trying to steal keep it, it's time to play another round of SCP.  We had a family get together today so while dinner was simmering away, I slipped into this incredibly sexy t-shirt for a family photo op.  The collective response: WHAT are you wearing and WHY?????  I told them the truth, "I lost a bet" ;)  "Who wants to be in the photo with me?"  My 86 year old mother scurried to the bathroom giggling, taking my niece with her!  Really?  My DS laughingly said "That would be so inappropriate" while my daughter-in-law quickly took my grandsons to watch the Disney Channel (Laurie does this sound at all familiar? LOL) I issued my final ultimatum, "only the people who are in this picture will be in my will!" Not enough of a threat, I guess. Here I am with the one buddy who stood by me (probably because he can't read)...

 

In keeping with the season, Finn and I went out the other day, camera in hand.  We stopped by our favorite doggie store where the owner asked if Finnegan could be part of her Halloween Dog on the Street Series.  Huh?  

She explained that she videotapes the dog while she interviews him.  And my family thinks I'm crazy?? I said ok, but he doesn't talk much.  She said she first had to get him ready for the interview and I'm so dumb, I thought she was going to brush him a bit. Here's Finnegan when he came out of the dressing room.(Photo 1)... and being "interviewed" on the street (Photo 2) He's staring into the mic. LOL.  We won't have any idea what he actually said until it appears on Facebook but I'm sure some of you do :) So have at it!!!!  I can't wait to hear what you come up with!!!! Caption either picture...

Hey everybody - please let Doris enjoy her winning moment!  She worked hard for this and now she's wondering why she was on a very funny roll!  She won fair and square!  My guess is she may be in caffeine detox right now!  LOL! My brother, the advertising exec/judge, wants to hire her, I think  :)) 

If anyone's at fault, it's me for ending the contest so soon, but I didn't see anything in the rules about how long it should stay up and we had soooooooo many good entries going!  As it was, the judges had a hard time making a decision because they thought you were are all pretty darn funny!  Jane, I'm sorry.  I was rooting for you. Laurie and I tried to reach you. I hope the shirt's next stop after Texas is Florida :) 

Laurie, YES I would have given Doris extra points for leading with a compliment LOL.  She is one smart cookie:)  But that's why I didn't do the judging :)

Won't it be funny if I go back to Life on a Leash and find out that really was a turtle costume!  JUST kidding!

Karen, I've enjoyed EVERY MOMENT with The Shirt!! I just thought that after 3 months, (although it's only been here 1 month)  I'd better get cracking!  OH NO...did I hurt JD's feelings too by closing it down before he could caption??????  He wanted The Shirt back didn't he?  Oh, my bad! LOL

We just love giving Doris the raspberries!!!  I don't think anyone is at all seriously upset - although I WAS standing in the dressing room trying on all those UGLY m.o.b. dresses and thinking about TURTLES - LOL!!!!!

Thanks for your post Jane.  I really appreciate it. The contest was hilarious but I've never "moderated" a contest online and I sure didn't mean to upset anybody.  

That Doris, you gotta love her!  She is just the "roadrunner" of captions is she not???  I mean when she gets in "the zone" look out!!! LOL  I'm glad I didn't have to choose because I was laughing so hard at everybody's posts, my sides were aching.  

FInn on the other hand, not so much. Now I know that when he's bad I can threaten to send him to Laurie where he'll be dressed up all the time:)

We sure missed you, Jane.  I'm sure you'll be a drop dead gorgeous MOB - and hey, I don't know the date, BUT I don't think the THE SHIRT has ever been to a wedding -- or a cruise LOL
