The fun thing about a doodle is that they all look a little bit different. If you want to clip his hair differently, go for it. My doodles used to have long hair when we lived on the mainland. Since we've moved to Hawaii, they are sporting very short do's all of the time. The last time I clipped them both, I sheared their ears too. My DD loves it, my DH, not so much. Everyone has their own opinion. Do what you like. The dogs don't know the difference. ;o)

I actually had my Midas cut like this a while back... I posted pics and got a lot of bad feedback, but I don't care! lol he looked adorable and everyone loved it and he loved the attention as well, hes a real ham! check my pics I think I still have them.. i think it looks great! i think we are definitely going to do it, maybe for his first cut, cause he still has his puppy fluff and i think that will make a good mane :)

I think it's cute ...my doodle is black so it wouldn't work for her. If you and the doodle has fun with it , who cares what someone else thinks, it's just hair !

I agree - a haircut is a haircut. Doing something creative is fine. I for one don't go for the poodle topiary, but the lion cut is so cool and I also like the way Boo is shaped!
