Look What I Just Got In My Morning Mail! Warning: May Cause Envious Thoughts!!

Please don’t be jealous when I show you what I got from PJ & Zach.  Lately, on the front page, I have been seeing some of the neatest cartoons go by of Zach.  PJ & Zach also posted a blog and you can go to Facebook and like them, which I did, and would do 100 more times, if I could.

Well, lo and behold, I woke up this morning and see this cartoon featuring Fudge and Vern.  Of course, I did not shamelessly ask PJ & Zach to make one for Fudge and Vern.  That would be incredibly cheeky of me to ask a total stranger, who is talented beyond words, to use her valuable time to make a cartoon of my dogs, so that I can have one, too.  It would take a lot of nerve and I, for one, would not do it to a nice, new member of DK.  No, I personally think my dogs got randomly picked by PJ & Zach because of their stunning beauty and personality. I just can’t figure out any other reason I woke up to this unexpected and delightful surprise. Thank you, PJ & Zach, for going through all the pictures on DoodleKisses and choosing Fudge and Vern. (wink, wink)  PJ, You may not know this about me, but I am extremely competitive and I feel like I just won the grand prize. This made my day!!

P.S. If you can think of any other reason, my dogs were selected, please feel free to comment.

No offense to PJ and Zach, whose cartoons are adorable, but I think she knew who the biggest blabbermouth most talented and prolific writer on DK is and she wanted some free publicity more of us to see her work. This is meant in no way to disparage Fudge and Vern , who are the second cutest pair of doodles on DK. No envy here, of course.

F, It all happened exactly as I stated. Take my word for it and do not start interrogating PJ, who was trying to do a nice thing for a member who has some incredibly beautiful dogs. I forgot to tell PJ that what happens behind the scenes at DK, stays behind the scenes :)

I'm sure it wasn't the collage of Fudge and Vern that you put in PJ's discussion.  It's obviously just their adorableness that must have caught her attention as she looked through DK photos, as you mentioned.  P.S. This looks really great!  They would make great cartoon characters, with a lot of stories and adventures revolving around the odd interesting people that they live with.

Leslie, I have to learn to be more discreet. I can see we have some detectives on DK. For your information, I was just trying to show her some pictures of Fudge and Vern to show her the difference in their sizes. That is all. I can't help it if she was stunned by their beauty and needed to capture it in a cartoon. LOL
