Look What I Just Got In My Morning Mail! Warning: May Cause Envious Thoughts!!

Please don’t be jealous when I show you what I got from PJ & Zach. Lately, on the front page, I have been seeing some of the neatest cartoons go by of Zach. PJ & Zach also posted a blog and you can go to Facebook and like them, which I did, and would do 100 more times, if I could.

Well, lo and behold, I woke up this morning and see this cartoon featuring Fudge and Vern. Of course, I did not shamelessly ask PJ & Zach to make one for Fudge and Vern. That would be incredibly cheeky of me to ask a total stranger, who is talented beyond words, to use her valuable time to make a cartoon of my dogs, so that I can have one, too. It would take a lot of nerve and I, for one, would not do it to a nice, new member of DK. No, I personally think my dogs got randomly picked by PJ & Zach because of their stunning beauty and personality. I just can’t figure out any other reason I woke up to this unexpected and delightful surprise. Thank you, PJ & Zach, for going through all the pictures on DoodleKisses and choosing Fudge and Vern. (wink, wink) PJ, You may not know this about me, but I am extremely competitive and I feel like I just won the grand prize. This made my day!!

P.S. If you can think of any other reason, my dogs were selected, please feel free to comment.

Laurie had an unattractive ceramic hand given to her, by I think a SIL, who had gotten it herself as a gift. Somehow Karen, was unfortunate enough to either win this or say she'd accept it and she actually modeled it for us.

Do NOT diss The Hand! I love The Hand! It is very versatile! In addition to being a conversation piece, it could be a soap dish:

Or- it could be a tennis ball holder:

Of course, currently, The Hand is performing neither of these functions, but is instead helping to hold down the patio table in case of a strong wind. It's very useful. I will take new photos in the spring.

LOL, I did say I didn't want any more non-functional objects, but that's only because I have limited space, and besides, what could compete with The Hand?
