Loving names for our Doodles

Today, I was thinking.  My poor Bailey has so many loving names, I wonder if she knows it.  Sometimes we call her just "Dood".  Other times I call her "Doodlebreath", "Baby", "Girlfriend", or Bailey, Bailey, Bailey.

She always turns her head when I don't use her "Legal Name", but then I wonder if she just knows the sound of my voice.

I thought it would be fun to hear from all of you:  Do you have loving names for your Doodles?  If so, what are they?

Monty Mont, Mont, Little man, Doodlebug, Buddy, Big guy.

[Ricki and Tara (doodle)]

It seems like Doodlebug is a popular one!   Every time I hear it I think of this woman I met who owned a VW Beetle convertible and a 110 pound Labradoodle who loved to ride around in the back seat! Now THAT was a DoodleBug! LOL!

[Jarka, Monty & Auggie]

LOL, same with my Monty: Mont Mont, Montyman, Big Guy, Buddy, budbud, Dood, Monty van Doodle, Macko (bear in Slovak), MontyZoomy (when he is being crazy), Goofey, Goodball, Dufus.

[Camilla and Darwin]

Darwin has so many nicknames it's outrageous. Among the best are pup2D2, Señor Pup... oh and we started calling him Bongy but I can't remember why. LOL

[Sherri, Sophie, Winston, & Kitty]

Sophie: Sophie Bear, Monkey, Doodle, Monkeydoodle, Doozer, Sweetie, Sweet Heart, Sweet Pea, Sweetie Pie, Sweet Potatoe, Baby, Goofball, Silly Girl, Silly Doodle, ... I sing songs that I make up. Here's one off the top of my head, to the tune of London Bridges Falling Down: "Monkey Doodle, Sophie Bear, Sophie Bear, Sophie Bear, Monkey Doodle Sophie Bear, my sweet Monkey." It is totally ridiculous and I think I get more enjoyment out of it than she does.

 

Winston: Winnie, Winster, Pumpkin, Big Boy, Sweet Boy, Monkey Boy, Baby Boy, and of course, Pooh Bear ...

I love your rendition of London Bridge...LOL!!  I think I too have a lot more fun singing to Tara then she does when she is being sung to!

Kona: sweetie pea, The big boy, The good dog, Hunkie dunkin', lovey dove, sweetest boy

Owen: sassy pants, cutie pie, The naughty dog, piggy feet, piggy face, sassifras, bad boy, bad, bad, bad boy! comedian, goofy, sweet heart

Um... can you tell which one has a gentle loving deep soul and which one has impulse control issues. ;o)

Dood, doodle-boy, Pipper-Dipper, doodle brain, monster, mop top, stinker, demon dog (his eyes glow red in the dark), goofball, blockhead, fluffy

Our Riley gets called little miss, my girl and cuteness and of course she is all those things and more!!

Oh God.... I have tons of names, lets start with Sasha.. I call her Sashies Natishies, my little princess, pretty girl, curly q.  For Oliver I always call him pee-pee because he was always peeing when he was a puppy so I called him pee-pee dog, now that his is all grown up I just call him Peeps :)

Trixie has several....just days ago I was planning on writing down her nicknames...as I know some will change & I dont want to forget what they were.
