Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

So awfully difficult to write about -- I've not been on the site in ages; things had been going so well with our 3 1/2 yr old chocolate mini-Australian labradoodle. His pictures don't even do him justice. We get stopped every time we go out with him; he is just so adorable and sweet natured. But we were shocked and devastated to learn last week of his diagnosis - I can even feel his enlarged lymph nodes I'm waiting for a call back from a recommended oncologist tomorrow; even had a homeopath friend check with some of her colleagues here and all advised the same. Have to wonder if/what others have experienced. I want to give Bosco a fighting chance IF it's reasonable to do so. I read of one other Labradoodle who went through chemo and the results - which I know is not curative, only palliative. Our hearts are just breaking.

Susan, thank you for the update.  Good news! Being able to truly embrace the soul of another and wrap your heart around the moment, is a gift :)  Keep enjoying those moments and we'll keep you and Bosco in our prayers and thoughts.  We're here for you.  Keep up the fight little Bosco!

Wonderful news! Thanks for taking the time to update us. Huge hugs to Bosco!
I am delighted to hear Bosco is responding well.

Keep on fighting, Bosco!

Keep up the good work Bosco!  We love you!

When we see how well Bosco is doing, and all the love and life he has left in him to give and to share with us, we have no doubt in our minds we made the right choice in treating him for his condition.

Once again, we appreciate the outpouring of love and support. I showed this discussion thread to my son, who helped train Bosco as a puppy, and his girlfriend who were visiting over the weekend and it meant so much to them as well :-)

Thank you, again, for your outpouring of love. I shared the discussion postings with my son and his girlfriend who were here to visit this past weekend - it meant so much to them :-)

LOVE x100!

Great photos of the family and Bosco.

Lovely photos of your family.  Bosco is a lucky dog caught in some unlucky circumstances.  Glad he is doing well overall though.

Aww  "A lucky dog caught in some unlucky circumstances"  That's a way to look at it, alright....

Looks like Bosco is saying "That's not how you do a down dog".  Hope you all had a wonderful week-end.
