- About Me:
- We sadly lost our precious and most beloved 3 1/2 year old chocolate Labradoodle Bosco under very sad circumstances….despite his being diagnosed six weeks earlier with lymphoma for which we decided to treat him with chemo and to which he was responding well (although per his vet oncologist would have only extended his life expectancy by six months) Bosco chose to leave us under his own terms and in his own way. It was very difficult on us, as any way of his parting with us would have been, but it ultimately led us in synchronistic ways our next doodle. Most recently, we learned of another ALD in need of a rehome, that we welcomed into ours. Coby and Chloe are two months apart in age and have become fast friends.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Coby is another miniature multi-gen Australian Labradoodle. Bosco was a gorgeous rich chocolate; she is light apricot with white markings. Coby is named in a honor of both of our other dogs: Casey - who was a yellow lab - and Bosco. Chloe joined us from Alyson Rodges dog training in Santa Maria, CA.
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Breeder
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- Loved our yellow Lab Casey, researched this breed due to their intelligence, allergen free coat.
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- We enjoy spending as much time as possible with our pets, whether here in our home, out for Sunday coffee as we leisurely read our paper, or on hikes in our town or visiting those areas nearby
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- We have been very pleased with Kosmos and Belly Rubz
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- We've loved Poochie Bells for hanging on the backdoor to alert us to when it's time for a potty break. Detangler products are the best from Kemp. Fromm Dog Food

Hi Susan ~ I just noticed you have posted several status lines and just an fyi, this site is quite different that say Facebook, as the status lines fall off the front page quickly and few members actually get to see them or respond to your posts. If you are looking for responses to the post, you might consider opening a discussion regarding the doodle who is in need of rehoming and add her photo directly in the discussion. It is something that would interest other members that is for sure. Thank you for taking this cute little girl into your family. And BTW, Welcome to Doodle Kisses.

Thank you! We're proud parents :). She doesn't have all her shots yet so we haven't had a chance to take her out.. Take a look at the Malibu Cafe. It's a lovely brunch spot and is very dog friendly. I'll keep you posted as we start re-exploring the city with our pup!

Yes, he is looking down and I'm sure you have his approval. So sweet and loving. Please let me know when your new baby arrives. God Bless you and your family. Your memorial to Bosco was beautiful and so loving.
Thank you for your friend request and sweet words about Libby. My heart hurts for you and I know how hard it is to lose a member of the family. Come February Bosco will be looking down and and watching over your new Doodle with love. Take care and you are in my prayers.
oops, mixed up my dog's birthdays. Groucho's is March 28 and Harpo's is June 10.
I did not see your painful post, but came to your page and saw that Bosco has the same birthdate (3-28-10) as my ALD. Could they be from the same litter? They sure look alike, except Harpo is a lighter color. Did he come from Texas?
