This morning our fifteen-week-old Goldendoodle Marlowe tested positive for the Parvovirus.  She had already been vaccinated and given her first booster shot and she never leaves our yard, but she still managed to get sick.  Our vet said we were his fifth case this week.  She's currently at the vet on an IV and we are hoping she pulls through this.  :( Please keep our baby in your thoughts!

Oh no!  Hoping the antibiotic works!!  Big hugs for Marlowe....she is so darn cute!!

Hoping the antibiotics work. Great to see her up and about though and those siblings are just too cute for words.

Glad to hear she is doing so well and hope the antibiotics take care of the abscess. She is adorable and the pix of her siblings is precious.

Congrats Marlowe!

Our Kilo got Parvo last month and made it after 8 days at the ER vet.  The bill was $12K!!!

But he is thriving now.

BTW, I'm guessing your bond with Marlowe will be that much stronger.  Best of luck.

Oh my goodness!  Before we took her in to deal with her abscess and get more antibiotics, our bill was only $700 and she was on an IV for a solid week.  We have been pretty stressed out about it, but now I feel blessed that it wasn't worse!  Congrats on your Kilo getting better!  It sounds like we have a couple of fighters.  She is definitely a Mama's girl now!

How's Marlowe doing?

She's GREAT!  Thank you very much for checking up on her.  Her abscess went away after a few days of stronger antibiotics, so no surgery - thank God!  She's sick of being penned up and separate from the other dogs, but she's perfect.  If it wasn't for her bony shoulders and hips, you wouldn't know she was ever sick!

Here she is right now :)

Oh, sweet baby girl...!

Awesome News!

Terrific.
Such great news! She's darling.

Oh, she is such a cute little girl! I'm so glad to hear that she continues to improve and that the antibiotics took care of the cyst so it won't require surgery. Give her a big hug from me and Tara!
