Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum
I joined this forum a couple of weeks ago and am just now posting photo from... 2 weeks ago. She is a rescue. The "breeder" dropped an entire litter off at the animal (kill) shelter in Abilene. A rescue group fostered them and that is how we eneded up with Noel. She is the best puppyin the world and is extremely laid back. The moment you sit down, you will have a little companion curled around your feet.

Love her! You are a lucky family indeed. She clearly will continue to bring you joy "furever"!
Hi Scott. Small world! We met Sandy at PetSmart yesterday and, while talking about our respective doodles we told her Annie was a rescue from Abilene and that the foster mom we got her from had taken two of the puppies from the shelter. She had named them Eve and Noel. She said she knew where Noel was! Wow! She and Annie (Eve) look just alike! Annie now weighs about 30lbs. She loves to run in our meadow, will fetch balls, sticks and a frisbee. She is cutting teeth and wants to be held much of the time. Annie doesn't bark at anything except me if she wants to go out and feels I'm not moving fast enough or at her reflection in the window at night! She is pure joy and we feel so blessed to have been able to rescue her. She is so smart and funny, she keeps us laughing at her antics. I will post more pictures of Annie in action tomorrow. I'm so glad you have Noel and look forward to sharing stories about the two sisters!
Hello! It is a very small world! We kept Noel's name because we thought she was such a blessing and a wonderful Christmas present. She is with us in Dallas and has a wonderful life. She retrieves perfectly without any training. Of course, she is very quiet as well. We think Noel is the perfect dog. She will be laying down in the den with us and starts "talking". It is the funniest thing. It sounds like a combination of whimper, whine and growl. She is wonderful with our son and has a wonderful personality. Noel loves to crawl uner a bed, table or chair and stick her head out and observe everything. She is great on the leash. One odd thing about her is that she doesn't warm up to men very quickly. It takes her about 5 to 10 minutes before she is comfortable. But with women and children, she thinks they are her best friends immediately. I believe they should be about 5 months old any day now. I have attached her 4 month picture and will take her 5 month picture after work today. We travel to Winters frequently and will be back out there Easter weekend. Noel weighs at least 40 pounds and eats twice a day. Let's keep in touch and share pictures! I am so happy that Annie is in a wonderful home.
Scott
