Good Morning everyone ..... a little over 12 hours ago Miss Somer came into our lives via Sue Cooper! She went to Pittsburgh and drove over 6 hours to bring her to us just outside of Columbus! Just as all of you were convincing me that males were more affectionate, along comes Somer! I've had more kisses in the last 12 hours than you can imagine. She is such a sweet little girl. She is just over a year old, an F2 Labradoodle who is being re-homed. I won't say that it has been a seamless transition, but it hasn't been too bad (you might see some posts from 4 am this morning). We will be tracking our story and updating our successes (or failures) on the DRC website so if you want, come on over and keep up with us! Right now we are headed into the utility room to see how we do with brushing and a bath!
Hmmm this sounds SO FAMILIAR! I did have a small black eye last week as LARGE Starlit decided she should be closer to me than Spud and heaved herself upon me as I slept. I'm still alive :)~
It could be that the big blond one and his black beauty are more into cuddling together. She is a lovely looking doodle bound to contrast beautifully with the blond one.
Wow! All of you who tak in fosters are just so out of this world! She looks so sweet... not only because she reminds me a bit of Tori! - LOL Thanks, Lucy and sophie's mom- they are two very lucky doods to have you!
What a beauty. I can't wait to see her post-grooming pictures. You guys with your fosters.. you make a sane person have to tell themselves, "I have enough furry babies... I have enough furry babies..." :)
Wow! She is soooo beautiful! I'm happy she has a wonderful foster mom to look after her! Thanks to Sue for taking a long road trip to help this beautiful doodle. I'm going to check out DRC right now!
