Well I hope everyone is having a warm BBQ kind of weekend. This is a picture taken yesterday on a route that is about 40 minutes from my house. To be fair it is a mountain road, but come on, it's almost June already !!!

Oh Sheila, that is just crazy! We spent the weekend with our niece who is a Capt. in the Air Force and sister in law. This morning my DIL and I spent an hour at my Crossfit gym doing a Memorial Day Murphy workout in honor of a fallen soldier, Micheal Murphy. This was one of his workouts. 1 mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups and 300 squats and another 1 mile run. It was a cool 65 degrees and sunny, and as I was whining my way through most of this workout in my head, I reminded myself of his and others sacrifices so that we had the freedom we all enjoy. So I just sucked it up and did it. Hope it warms up soon in NY for you!

WOW, good for you Sue ! I'll take the 65 degrees and you can even skip the sunny ! Love the Air Force, we used to have a huge AF base in this city. Then due to budget cuts, and closures, we lost our beloved base. Miss the people still, but not the B51's that used to fly over the house !! LOL Have a great day :)

Snow!!!! it rained a little in the afternoon,but Ohio was ok. God Bless our fighting  men and women and all of the past military... Happy Memorial Day...
