Never saw that before. Just glanced at the site. Some questions arise. Why does Sunny, male breeder, have his throat shaved? Also, I usually avoid site where the breeder is selling supplements. But this breeder is offering a hip warrantee only if you use the supplement she sells.

Throat shaved for a bark collar (or wireless fence) I imagine.

Would you really need to do this.I use an electronic collar sometimes on Luca, vibrate only, for recall. I haven't shaved him or even kept his hair real short but maybe you need very good contact for an actual shock. Any opinions on the hip warrantee thing.

Maybe the neck hair was matted from wearing a collar too much? Who knows.

Some people are firm believers in alternative medicine/ home remedies, so seeing the Nuvet thing can't immediately be tainted in a negative light, but the lack of testing can. If they were committed to breeding for puppies with good hips, ALL the parents in the program would be tested.
