Labradoodle & Goldendoodle Forum

Hello all,

Lola and I will be moving to Denver at the end of the summer. I was wondering if the people that live in Denver could give me any pointers or recommendations for a vet, doggy day care, boarding, dog parks, groomers, local pet stores, etc. I was hoping there would be a doodle group for Colorado, but there is none. I would be willing to start one if anyone is interested in sharing suggestions. Any information is helpful.

I don't live in Denver, but most of my family is there. So we visit with Moose and Mica. There is a pet store in Golden called Gold'n Paws. They have a lot of natural products and such. They also have a self serve bath area in the back. Only Natural Pet Store is based out of Boulder. Of course, Kong toys are made in Golden, CO also. You will love living there, it's beautiful. The dog parks are pretty nice and the ones we visited are free. Have a safe move. Try upping your vitamin C, I think that is supposed to help with altitude sickness. I had no problems the last time I visited and I'm coming from the flatlands of Indiana. :)
Here is a link to Colorado Doodles http://www.coloradodoodle.com/romps.html . They are an active group with regular romps. I am sure showing up for a romp will help you become connected to others in the area.
