- About Me:
- I am a Geologist for the State of Indiana. No kids except the fur kids. I enjoy reading and various crafts. Craft of choice right now is beading and jewelry making. I have added crochet to my crafts, but I'm still learning.
- What Type of Doodle(s) do you have? What are their names? Tell us about your doodle(s) or any other pets you have!
- Two rescue doodles (Moose and Mica), both first generation (compliments of INDOG). We also have two rescued cats (Gandalf and Galahad).
- Where did you get your doodle(s)?
- Rescue
- Why did you choose a doodle rather than another breed or mix?
- We kind of lucked into them actually. My family had poodles (standard and mini) when I was a kid. My husband's family had a lab. It seems we were destined to be doodle owners. :)
- What are Your Favorite Things to Do With Your Doodles?
- Take them for walks and swimming at the dog park. We love to travel with them when we visit family in CO. I also like to take them shopping with me to dog friendly stores. Nothing breaks the ice with other people like a couple rambunctious doodles.
- Does your doodle(s) shed?
- Yes!, A little bit but nothing major
- Who grooms your doodle(s)?
- Our doodles have coats that don't really need to be groomed. We should brush Mica more since she sheds something aweful. Moose barely sheds at all.
- Favorite Doodle Products?
- Kong and Tuffy's toys and raw shank bones. My sister in Colorado gave the doodles buffalo shanks and they LOVE them. I think I've found the actual place that "makes" the buffalo shanks and they have a store front near my family, so next trip out, I'm stocking up!

What breed(s) have your doodles been mistaken for?
I know this sounds like a weird post, but I laugh every time I start to count up the number of breeds Moose (or Mica) has been mistaken for. I've had people ask me if he (or she) is: an Otterhound, a Flat Coated Retreiver, a Curly Coated Retriver, a Portugeuse Water Dog, an Italian Spinoni, and......here's my favorite...an Irish Wolfhound.
