I had to share this video because I find it so inspirational.  Yaeger was a "Craig's List dog" who is now a World Champion and with his "Dad" they are raising awareness and funds for Down Syndrome at the Children's Hospital of Boston.  This is especially meaningful to me since I have a son with Downs.  Be sure to watch to the half way mark when you'll meet Yaeger's little Down Syndrome "trainer".

aint that the truth!
Oh Jane! thanks so much for sharing.  This brought tears to my eyes.

So sweet

Wow, that was amazing.  That cute little girl was so good with the dog.  The commands were perfect and you could tell she loved doing it.  What a sweet video...everyone should see it!  Thanks for sharing it with us!
What is most amazing to me is that this dog could be so driven in competition yet so gentle with this special little girl.  It's as if he just knew.  I also think about the sense of empowerment that something like this will give to a child like this....something that will carry her through so many future times when she feels so un-empowered.  I can't stop watching it.
Wow and i thought Ginger could jump!!  The training at the end is so cute!!
This is awesome! Thank you so much for sharing and for enlightening us.
I love the dog, the darling little girl and the dog's "man".....what a great story!    I couldn't believe when the dog "touched" the bar but didn't grab it....and in mid-air he actually turns his body keeping his eye on that bar the whole time.    Love her little "thank you"!  And the way the dog's "man" jumped with such enthusiam for his dog's awesome jumps!    Great post Jane!
