OK - I went to pick out Fergie's sister. Took the fat dark one. But she does not look like a Ginger. Just doesn't. What does anyone think about the name FINNEGAN. We stopped and drank Finnegan Irish Amber beer on the way home.
Don't you think it has a ring to it.
Fergie and Finnegan.
No, I'm not Irish but I do like the Irish and I love St. Patty's Day.
I love the name Finnegan! But I'm sure a lot of people would think she's a boy. Plus Fergie and Finnie?! Would you get tongue tied trying to call them? haha. What about Amber? My brother's boxer is named Amber (and you were drinking an Irish Amber) who we call Wamber/Wambs/Wambie. Don't know why, but that's how her name has evolved.
Yes you can totally name your dog after someone's daughter! Depending on the girl's age, she's probably find it really neat to know a puppy with her same name! I'm Missi, and I always thought it was neat when I was younger to know so many people with dogs named missy (especially after the Beethoven movies).
what about Eugenie,Genie for short since you already have Fergie. I also like Gidget or Bridget or even Fancy. Those are my suggestions for what they are worth.
We also picked the "FAT, dark one" out of a litter of 10 GD's. He is male though, but at 5 1/2 months old has lightened to a golden colour. I think the name Finnegan is adorable. So what if it's not a girly name-it's unique. You will probably call her Finn for short and that is cute too as I am sure she will be. Amber? also nice but I vote for Finnegan. Now I just read that name like "Irish and D'Arcy"-love them too but I still vote for Finnegan. Good luck with this and make sure to let us know what the final name will be.
What about Irish or Amber (your friend's daughter might like it)? How about Patty or Paddy? What about Dublin or Maura? I love Irish things too so I probably could go on for a while. How about Shammy (Shamrock) or Clover? How about Emmy (Emerald Isle)? Stop me, please!
