My question seems a little silly becuase there are so many threads going on that seem

so much more important than this but anyways ...

I am wondering how I can meet people on this site. Do I just read posts and comment and hospfully a friendship starts? I am in the market for some positive pet owner friends :)

Welcome Heather to DoodleKisses - the best website around for doodle lovers everywhere.  About meeting people, I would suggest joining a group from your area and maybe going to some doodle romps this spring. They are coming up soon.  We are having one at Carmel Beach this Sunday (St. Patrick's Day).

And Sheila - You were a Hopeless Doodle Addict in six months!  That is amazing!

Your doodle will make a lot of friends for you just by taking her out and about.  If you have a business or a business card, get some made to hand out. I am really into photography and take lots of pictures and make Smileboxes with the photos (like this weekend at the doodle romp).  You just need e-mail addresses and you can send out the Smileboxes.  At Christmas time they have Christmas card exchanges and I do the e-mail cards.  Keeps me busy at the end of the year.  So many things you can do so hop right in.  You will love it here.

Like sheila says, jump right in, comment and post pictures and in no time you will have sparked friendships that you never thought possible..
