Last year my daughters best friend died. She was 23. It was devastating to my entire family as she was part of the family. 1 month after she died we got our Bay. She was and continues to be our "therapy". They are snuggly affectionate loving dogs who can make us feel better in the worst of times. Best wishes. Love DK!

Welcome to DoodleKisses and congratulations on your new puppy.  Goldendoodles are wonderful dogs and I am sure (s)he will do her/his best to be the therapy dog you wanted for your son.  Now it is up to you to give her/him the training.  Remember that they are wonderful members of the family but very high energy dogs.  Get your regular exercise routine established right from the beginning and everyone will profit from the exercise.  Our dogs really insist on daily walks, bike rides, etc.

A very warm welcome Julie.  We just got a new Goldendoodle puppy 3 weeks ago.  She is just a little sweetheart and we just adore her.  You will love this breed, they are so easy to train, intelligent, and just wonderful, loving dogs.  We have two boys and they are smitten with her.  Can't wait to see pictures of your new puppy!
