Hi! I am new to goldendoodles and doodle kisses.  We will be getting our new pup in a couple of weeks... we are surprising our girls with the puppy, so it's killing me not being able to talk about it! lol!  I have had goldens and we currently have a cockapoo.  Our new pup is an F2b medium... I had intended to get a puppy with a bit more wave and fluff, but her personality won us over.  We have not met her in person... just in photos and on video.  Any thoughts on what she might look like as she progresses through her coat stages? These are her 6 week pics.

Hi there and welcome! and she is lush!! i think with doodles it is so hard to tell what they are going to turn out like and some can have up to three coat changes or more!!!! but she looks like she is going to be a long/straight hair type to me but i am no expert!! some of the other lovely people on here will probs no abit more!!!

Dixie is a straight fleece type at the moment but she is going through her first change!

Hi Heather ~ Congratulations.  You must be so excited and your puppy is so darn cute. Congratulations!  I have Labradoodles, so I can't offer too much insight and it's always difficult to tell for sure when they're this young. She's adorable!

Thanks everyone! Rebecca, your Dixie is so cute!  My first golden was named Dixie. :)  I need to start thinking about names too, but I'm sure my girls will have a say in that!  

It's been a few years since we had a puppy... we have a crate and will get pee pads.  If there are any must-have reminders or new products, would love to hear!

Also, I may need to start another thread, but has anyone trained a puppy with a doggie door?  We got our doggie door after our cockapoo was housetrained, so I've never trained a puppy with a doggie door.
