- Gracie... medium F2b goldendoodle... now 2 years old and about 55 pounds... flat coated... we were hoping for some more fluff but she's a sweet girl (most of the time), and we love her!

Hi Heather! I definitely think there is hope for Dixie to "doodle out"! Lucy is an F1 but she looked VERY golden retriever when we picked her up at 8 weeks, and even for maybe a month or two she had mostly straight hair. I think at age 4-5 months she started getting a big wave on her back and the pretty soon her face starting getting her beard thing. I'll post a picture on my page that I took of her around Halloween, when she was about 6 1/2 months :) Congratulations, such an exciting time! I was really stressing over whether or not Lucy would be curly but I just tried to enjoy watching her grow and I love how she looks now :)
