No more puppies at my house :(

because Stuart is ALL GROWN UP!  Sure I have another 6 months to belong to puppy madness group because Stuart is only 1.5 yrs old but today he got his 1st hair cut.  Sure he has been trimmed before but never cut and his hair was very long giving him a cartoon look that people just loved but I suddenly knew that it was time to let it go.

Stuart's hair is just doesn't matt - Rooney's but not Stuarts - it would go into the beginnings of a dread lock - an individual spiral type curl.  Looked bad brushed so we just left it alone - lol.

He is gorgeous long or short.  How long did it take the groomer to dry him when his fur was that long?  I think Lucy's fur is tooooo long when it is about 5 - 6 inches.  It takes forever for her to dry.  My daughter is now a groomer and does Lucy every 4 weeks.  She hand blow dries her, how I like it, and it takes awhile b/c her fur is so thick.

Rooney's hair is much more poodley than Stuart's - Stuart dries very fast, Rooney's takes forever.  Stuart has an undercoat like a retriever which is wonderful with his swimming AND the best part is - he dries himself off on a towel - kid you not!
